Profitability — Nexion members keep 90%-100% of the commissions they earn, depending on their choice of member plans. They also earn the highest commissions possible by selling top quality travel products from Nexion preferred suppliers. Nexion members will begin receiving their earned commissions twice a month, effective August 2007.
Productivity — The tools and training provided by Nexion enable its members to be more efficient and effective. They work smarter, not harder. Current improvements are focused on integrating the Nexion WebView® desktop with ClientBase®. This will allow Nexion members to log into a single desktop tool and have access to Nexion applications and programs, as well as ClientBase, the industry leading CRM tool, to manage their customers and their business.
People — One of the greatest benefits of being a Nexion member is the connections members can make with their customers, Nexion preferred suppliers, the Nexion support team of travel veterans and most importantly, other Nexion agents.
The Nexion CoNexion message board, which launched mid-year 2006, allows members from across the country to share ideas, knowledge and best practices at any time of day or night.
In 2007, Nexion has increased its focus on “CoNexions.” Every Boot Camp sells out. Boot Camps focus on building “CoNexions” with members by introducing them to staff and suppliers as well as teaching them how to access and apply myriad tools and services to their day-to-day business.
The most important opportunity of 2007 is the first ever Nexion members only conference — CoNexion LIVE, held in September, with content specifically geared toward the interests and needs of the independent travel professional.
Promotions — All Nexion members are automatically members of Jurni, the leisure travel consortia that produces innovative, award winning direct marketing and E-mail campaigns that use emotional hooks, not price, to stand out in the crowded marketplace. All consumer marketing is customized so that members’ clients call them directly.
In addition to enticing consumers to buy travel through their travel agent, Jurni Marketing has won multiple awards, including 2006 MarCom Creative Awards Platinum Winner for Award Winning Travel Themed Campaign and Gold Winner for The World is Waiting Themed Campaign.
Play — Nexion believes work should be fun so members have the opportunity to attend exciting educational trips, workshops and seminars at sea throughout the year. Members enjoy fun team building events, social time with Nexion staff, and even an occasional round of karaoke.
