It’s been another great year for Travel Quest, starting off with our recent affiliation with Carlson Wagonlit. We are thrilled be able to offer our agents the power of being a Carlson Wagonlit Travel affiliate! Some of the new perks for our agents: optional use of the CWT logo, access to supplier direct mail pieces for their clients, a complimentary CRM, great promo codes available only to CWT affiliates, and an online corporate booking tool.
Just recently Travel Quest’s founder, Bonnie Lee, was recognized by the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal as one of the top 25 Women to Watch for the excellent hosting program and support she provides to agents.
We offer our agents excellent support through monthly supplier trainings, roundtable discussions, an 800 support line, marketing support, and access to Carlson Wagonlit’s extranet with all the latest travel news.
With over $19.2 million in sales, our agents have made it possible for Travel Quest to be a member of the Funjet 500 Club, Northwest top accounts, and to receive the Golden Apple Award. Our agents also have access to the Funjet 500 support line, exclusive to agencies in the 500 club.
Travel Quest also provides agents with a bi-monthly marketing newsletter with creative ideas our agents can use to help build brand recognition for their agency, retain clients and reach a larger audience. We give our agents access to excellent marketing support and ideas, freeing them to do what they do best — sell travel.
Our philosophy is that agents deserve to be making 100% of their commissions. Our 100% program is very simple and straightforward — 100% commissions for $250/month. No GDS fees, no ticketing fees (they’re a killer!), no transaction fees, and no hidden fees. We often have agents ask us why we’ve chosen this model. Our answer is, “Why wouldn’t we?”
Travel Quest’s success began with one woman’s experience as a Home Based agent. Discouraged by the Host agencies she’d worked with, she created a unique Host agency model based upon her dream host agency. It turned out to be a pretty popular idea.
Agents also have the opportunity to sign up for our 80/20 plan for $20 a month. The monthly fee is reimbursed to agents with sales over $25,000. With no hidden fees and no ticketing fees, it’s a true 80/20 plan.
For agents concerned with the social responsibility of their Host agency, Travel Quest is a proud member of Minnesota Responsible Businesses, buys green power, and officially will become carbon-neutral in August 2007.
